Hourly Rate with a 2-Hour Cap:
For many troubleshooting and support tasks, I offer an hourly rate of $65 per hour, with a maximum charge of $130 per issue.
How it works: You'll be billed for the actual time spent resolving your issue.
Your Peace of Mind: For most general software problems, you will never pay more than $130, even if the solution takes longer than 2 hours. This provides cost certainty and ensures you won't face unexpected high bills for common issues.
Custom software solutions that require significant time and resources beyond standard troubleshooting or setup are priced differently. Any such exceptions will always be discussed with you transparently and a custom quote will be provided before proceeding.
I offer flexible service options designed for your convenience in Colorado Springs:
In-Person (Mobile Devices & Laptops): For help with your phone, tablet, or laptop, we can meet at a public location such as a coffee shop or library. This is often the quickest way to get your device sorted.
Virtual/Remote Support (Desktops & Laptops): For most desktop computer and laptop software issues, I can securely connect to your computer over the internet with your permission. This allows for fast and efficient help from the comfort of your home.
On-Site Visits (By Arrangement): I can come to your home or small business location for assistance. Please note, as I rely on public transport, on-site visits are generally limited to areas easily accessible by bus. However, if your location is outside this direct service area and you are able to cover the cost of a ride-share service for my travel, I'd be happy to come to you. This will be discussed and agreed upon upfront.
While initial phone or email consultations are free, a travel fee may apply if an in-person or on-site consultation is required and your location falls outside my readily accessible public transport service area, as noted above. Any such fee will always be communicated and agreed upon before any travel occurs.
